Families and longer stays: the Ponente seafront.

Levante or Ponente?
Levante beach is closest to the old town, ideal if you want beach days and evening strolls through the white alleys. Ponente beach is wider and quieter, with a seafront full of beach clubs, and leads toward the Villa of Tiberius and its famous grotto.
Seafront hotels to consider
Hotel Amyclae · ★★★ Viale Cristoforo Colombo 77
On the Ponente seafront with the beach right in front. A classic for family beach holidays.
Beach club: ask whether an umbrella and loungers are included or discounted. In August it makes a real difference to the bill.
Parking: the real summer challenge in Sperlonga. A hotel with parking saves you the daily hunt for a space.
Distance to the village: from the Ponente seafront the old town is a 10–20 minute walk, depending on where you are.
Sea view: not every room has one, even in beachfront hotels. If it matters, check the room type.
When to go
The best time is June or September: warm water, fewer crowds and lower prices than August. July and August are peak season and seafront hotels fill up months ahead. Many close in winter, so always check opening dates.
